Listázni jó, és ezen túlmenően nem is feltétlenül kell hozzá külön indok. Mivel évvégi listáink a Shock! történetének kezdetei óta kiemelkedő figyelemnek örvendenek az olvasók körében – és persze a kommentszekcióban is rengeteg további listát generálnak –, úgy döntöttünk, a jövőben kisebb-nagyobb rendszerességgel több hasonló jellegű összeállítással is jelentkezünk majd különböző koncepciók és témák mentén. Egy ilyen sort ugyanakkor természetesen nem is nyithatnánk mással, mint a szerkesztőség tagjainak örökranglistájával. A feladat többünk számára szinte lehetetlennek tűnt, pedig mindössze egyetlen megkötést tettünk: egy előadótól csak egy lemez kerülhet a Top 20-ba. De végül mindenki megugrotta a lécet. Vagyis az alábbiakban következzenek – mindenféle extra világmegfejtés nélkül – a mi leghatalmasabb favoritjaink. Nem a legjobbak, nem a csúcsművek, nem a legnagyobb hatású lemezek – hanem azok, amelyeket magunkkal vinnénk arra a bizonyos lakatlan szigetre.
